Today Adam and I drove up to Germantown, MD to hit up Butler's Orchard. Every year they have fun fall activities - pumpkin picking, hay rides, corn mazes, a petting zoo, and lots of other random stuff. The day got off to a bit of a rough start - we hadn't even left Old Town yet, and a bee stung my neck. That pretty much sucked. But by the time we got to the orchard, the pain was (mostly) gone.

Piggies!

Adam has an extra neck in this photo!

Ha, I'm a bumpkin!

A good catch...

Me and my pumpkin.

Last weekend Adam and I went to the beach with my family, and my stepmom brought us wedding cake! The lady who made the cake for our wedding makes a mini cake for your 1-year anniversary, which happily my stepmom remembered.

And here are some random cat photos.

Today in Evidence Law, my surly professor was talking about how he thought the cop in the case we were talking about might have fabricated some evidence. The student who he was talking with didn't agree, and asked the professor on what "grounds" he was basing this belief. This is the response the professor gave:
"On what grounds? On the grounds that cops lie! They lie all the time! They even have a word for it – testilying! They make jokes about it! They think it's funny, lying to put innocent people away in jail. There is empirical evidence about this."
